Radio Link - Sport

Radio Link keeps patients in touch with the sporting world, whilst they are in the Derby hospitals. There are dedicated programmes for major sporting occasions and bulletins at other times in the week. Our Sports Department monitor many different sources in order to bring sports results direct to the patient as swiftly as possible.

Several groups of volunteers help Radio Link by reporting from sporting events around the county, to keep patients informed on various sports. On many occasions Radio Link is the only station to be providing such a service. Our commentators at Pride Park Stadium give full match commentary of each Derby County match, via ISDN for the hospital patients, and via Soccer Sight and inductive loop systems for disabled supporters at the ground.
