The Derby Hospitals
Radio Link used to broadcast to the patients in the main hospitals in Derby.
Over the years that the charity functioned, (1974-2008), it provided its broadcast services to the Rycote Centre, Derbyshire Royal Infirmary, Derby City Hospital, Derwent Hospital, Derbyshire Childrens' Hospital, Kingsway Hospital, and the Nightingale Macmillan Continuing Care Unit.
As the Derby hospitals developed, the charity adjusted to endeavour to help as many patients as it could.
In the latter years, due to the hospital trusts altering their strategies, focussing their provision into more modern buildings, the older facilities were no longer required.
Finally, due to the capacity constraints within the new buildings, Radio Link could no longer be accommodated by the 'Hospital Trust'.
